A big release for jazz lovers
An unreleased album from legendary jazz saxophonist John Coltrane has just been released.
The album is called Both Directions At Once: The Lost Album and it features music going back to 1963. To put it in some context, Coltrane died four years later, in 1967.
The album features legends like McCoy Tyner on the piano, Jimmy Garrison on the bass, and Elvin Jones on drums. The album was recorded at the New Jersey studio of Rudy Van Gelder, who died two years ago.
