You can find DJ SAKE-1 kickin' up dust and making 5,000-person venues feel like neighborhood house parties from San Francisco to New York City to Atlanta to London and beyond....

DJ CHICKEN SKRATCH - "Top 40 Mashups and Old School"

Born and raised in the Bay Area, DJ Chicken Skratch embodies the fundamentals of respect and originality in the hip hop scene. Drawing influences from early 90s hip hop and pioneering San Francisco DJs like Q-Bert and Apollo, this DJ mixes the old with the new to create sounds and beats to get your feet movin’ on the dance floor. Spinning everything from hip hop, 80s, reggae/dancehall, neo-soul, funk, electro-clash, and everything in-between, you won’t have to request this DJ to play your song. But most importantly, this man demonstrates what being a DJ is ultimately about: if you do it for the love of the music, your true talent will shine through

2nd Annual Women's Empowerment Show at Starline Social Club, Oakland, CA

March 5, 2016 at 9pm to March 6, 2016 at 2am
This will be a celebration of Women's contributions in Hip Hop! Some of us remember the early 80s and 90s when MC Sha Rock, MC Lyte, Queen Latifah and many more were putting it down for the culture. It seems these days any female in Hip Hop is forced to be a sex symbol and we too often hear narratives that perpetuate patriarchy and misogyny. HipHopForChange's fight for the culture must include lifting up our sisters and providing a space for the diverse and powerful female voice!TICKETS: …See More
